Winchester Marine Consultants was set up by Ian Parry in 2010.
The company has undertaken a wide variety of projects either independently or as part of a larger project team. Where appropriate collaborative project teams have been formed to suit Client requirements.
Key Personnel
Ian Parry B.Sc.(Hons) C.Eng. FRINA has worked as a Naval Architect and Marine Consultant since graduating from Southampton University (Ship Science) in 1984.
After graduation Ian first worked for Brooke Marine Limited, in Lowestoft Suffolk.
In 1987 Ian started work for Keel Marine Limited, based in Alton, Hampshire. He progressed from Assistant Naval Architect to Senior Naval Architect whilst undertaking a vast array of projects, ranging from small inland waterways vessels to cruise ships and bulk carriers.
Ian has worked with Clients from many different organisations including shipyards, owners, operators, Trusts, government bodies and funding organisations.
In 2010 Ian set up Winchester Marine Consultants Limited and has continued working on a diverse range of projects including design work, stability, monitoring, supervision, and plan approval.
Ian is equally at home working within a multi-disciplinary team or independently either in the UK or worldwide.
